Terms and conditions of purchase

Who we are

Verde Istmo is a plant nursery in Panamá Oeste that sells indoor and outdoor plants, palms, cacti, succulents and lawn grass, with home delivery across Panama. We serve you on WhatsApp at +507 6907-4119. Learn more about us.

How to place an order

• You can order from the cart, with the “Order on WhatsApp” button on each plant, or by messaging us directly.
• The order is confirmed when we reply with the final price, availability and delivery date, and you accept it.
• If a plant isn't available in the size you chose, we offer you another size or a similar plant before confirming.

Prices

• Prices are in US dollars (USD) and are approximate: they depend on the size of the plant available.
• Before you pay, we confirm the final price of each plant on WhatsApp.
• Website prices may change without notice. The price we confirm in your order is the one that applies.

Sizes and photos

• Small, medium and large sizes are approximate. On each plant page we give the plant's height or the pot diameter.
• The photos are of our plants. In some of them we slightly blurred the background so the plant stands out; the plant and pot are not altered.
• Each plant is unique: if you want to see the one you'll get, ask us for a current photo on WhatsApp.

Payment methods

We tell you the available payment methods on WhatsApp when we confirm the order.

Delivery

• We work with home or office delivery only: there's no pickup at the nursery.
• Delivery is route-based: the price varies depending on the province and the delivery location, and we confirm it before you pay. In Panama City it's free with a $35 minimum order. This promotion may change.
• For the rest of the country, the cost depends on the route and the delivery location; we quote it on WhatsApp.
• The delivery day and time are arranged with you on WhatsApp.

Gift plants

• We can decorate the plant with white stones, a ribbon and a card or letter with your message. Decoration starts at $10 per plant; we confirm the price based on what you ask for.
• We deliver the gift straight to the recipient's home or workplace. For that we need their name, the address and a contact phone number.

When you receive your plant

• Plants are living things: after delivery they depend on the light and water they get. On each plant page we explain its care, and we advise you on WhatsApp whenever you need it.

Garden design and lawn grass

Patio and garden design, garden layout and lawn grass are quoted separately for each project.

Privacy

• The details you enter in the cart or forms (name, phone, address and message) are sent in a WhatsApp message to Verde Istmo. We use them to reply to you, arrange your order and make the delivery.
• The cart is saved in your own browser until you send it or empty it. This website doesn't use advertising cookies or tracking tools.
• If you want us to delete your data, message us on WhatsApp.
